I want to watch films based on and within the period in order to understand which elements of Edwardian and late-victorian interior decor were used by other production designers. I would be hesitant to directly use these spaces for inspiration as they are 'inspired-by' the age.
I have also realised I will need to focus more strongly on the Edwardian aesthetic than late-Victorian in order to distinguish the Victorian period more clearly in my research. I will still incorporate Arts and Crafts Movement elements into the space however, as a blend between the 19th and 20th centuries.
