For the first Photoshop skills passport, I experimented with brushes, distortions of images and stylising mood-boards. For this, I used my current Alice In Wonderland brief of the Mad Hatter's hat=making shop as a visual guide.

I experimented with the polygonal lasso tool to create shapes on a separate layer from the 'desk' image (HD photo by Ray Shrewsberry (unsplash.com)). I also used the plain brush tool with complimentary red and yellow tones.
I then moved onto creating a Mood-board for the overall Mad Hatter's Hat-Shop Idea, complete with bobbins, possible set-decoration elements and colour palettes. I distorted and warped images for this mood-board to create a dreamlike feel compatible with the Alice in Wonderland aesthetic.
I also created a second version of this mood-board, with polygonal lasso borders as I was conscious that the board was somewhat hard to read.
I then created another moodboard, this time soley based on set-decoration opportunities for the Pianoin the room chosen for the Alice project, which i considered turning into a desk the Hatter would use for creating pieces as well as an activity space for younger audiences/display area.

The next class requires images for a 'character board'.
